About Us

Overview

80208 storytelling network is a team of media producers that aim to document compelling stories related to the University of Denver campus, the city of Denver and our rocky mountain region. We seek to provide a platform that serves as a creative outlet for news and events for the students of the University of Denver and the surrounding area.

Mission

This group aims to create a forum for sharing ideas and storytelling across a
variety of multimedia formats. We wish to create a creative environment where
students of any department have the ability to create their own creative content
or collaborate with others to produce content. This group not only aims to foster a
creative environment, but we also wish to advance the knowledge of interested
peoples about the equipment and techniques necessary to produce creative content
across multiple media platforms.

Vision

We promote and foster an environment of:
  • Inclusiveness
  • Creativity
  • Teamwork
  • Collaborative learning
  • Self Awareness

We wish to foster an environment that allows for members of the community to
practice their freedom of speech while at the same time recognizing and honoring
the differences that are present between members of the community. We hope to
welcome strangers and newcomers who are experienced with the craft, have no
experience at all or somewhere in between.
